Integrated Master’s Program

The Integrated Master’s Program aims to encourage successful students with a GPA above a certain level to take some graduate-level courses during their undergraduate studies, gain practical professional experience, and plan their master’s studies before graduation, thereby saving time and encouraging them to pursue graduate studies. Within this framework;

  • Students can take a minimum of one and a maximum of two graduate courses each semester during their undergraduate studies. Courses are listed as “non-credit” on the transcript and do not contribute to the undergraduate GPA.
  • Students may only apply to the integrated master’s program specified for their enrolled undergraduate program. This is determined by a Senate decision.
  • Students enrolled in the International Joint Undergraduate Program cannot apply to the integrated master’s program due to the program’s continuation requirements.
  • To be definitively accepted into the integrated master’s program, a student enrolled in the program must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 after graduating from their undergraduate program and meet the ALES score requirement at the time of application. Otherwise, they cannot be definitively accepted into the master’s program.
  • The quota for integrated master’s programs is determined by the Senate upon the recommendation of the institute board, and shall not exceed 20% of the quota for the relevant graduate program.
  • Graduate students enrolled in integrated master’s programs are supervised by the head of the department. After students complete their undergraduate education and transition to a graduate program, an advisor is assigned as specified in the Graduate Education and Training Regulations of the relevant university.
  • Students are required to complete their undergraduate program in eight semesters. They will complete the final registration process for the integrated master’s program in the first semester following their undergraduate graduation.
  • For students who do not enroll in the master’s program, the credits for the courses taken within the integrated master’s program will be listed on a separate document and will not be included in their undergraduate diplomas.
